A family tree about selling and marketing.


Most peoples don’t have any idea about the differences of marketing and selling. Some peoples think that is all the same, they flipped about the functions and aims. Factually, they born with same vision but has different aims.

Here with i make a simple explanation about those things;

Branding is like a family tree.

We can call a happy couple is the brand itself. The brand have one son, which is sales, that what’s we called a son. Although the son have create a good record of increasing his parents sales, thus, the son isn’t feel satisfied enough. He keep looking for what he wants, in the middle of his searching journey, he falling in love with an attractive woman called marketing.

That’s what we called marketing and selling. Selling have aims to sell as much as it can. Beside, marketing is another thing that will make a brand more attractive. The differences is their selling indicator tools. When sales success indicator is numbers, but marketing is wider. It has engagement with customers, advertising, design, event, and promotion.

But both of them has the same aims, to make brand bigger and bigger. (LP)
